R. Bryan Ratliff - President, CEO, Partner

· Over 32 years of experience in all facets of commercial real estate finance, brokerage, and development

· Experience includes commercial mortgage and joint venture underwriting for life insurance companies, income producing property brokerage, acquisitions, leasing, and retail development

· Served as Senior Vice President of Retail Development for 21 years at Colonial Properties Trust

· Responsible for the development of numerous big box anchored shopping centers totaling over 3 million square feet and $300,000,000 in value throughout the Southeast

· Holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Southern Methodist University, with a Major in Business Administration.  He is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Alabama.  He has three children and resides in Birmingham, Alabama.

Maury Stead - Partner and Senior Vice President

· Over 30 years of experience in the leasing, management and brokerage of shopping centers throughout the Southeast. In the last five years sold or leased over $100 million in real estate

· Served as President and COO of Merchants Management, Inc from 1995 to 2000.  As managing partner took a start-up management company and grew it to over 7 million square feet before merging it with a larger management and leasing company.

· After a 3 year employment agreement expired started Stead Retail Group in 2003 specializing in brokerage, leasing and tenant representation where he was responsible for over 100 million in lease and sales transactions.

· He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and The Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club

· Holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Auburn University.  He is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Georgia.  He is married with 3 children and resides in Atlanta, Georgia.

Jon Christiansen - Senior Vice President/Secretary

· Over 23 years of experience in leasing, management, and development of shopping centers throughout the Southeast, including management of properties and tenant relations

· Marketing of shopping centers and regional offices

· Experienced in negotiation of leases and tenant representation, solicitation of third party business, and the hiring, directing, and motivating of office, leasing, and management personnel

· Site selection and pre-development due diligence

· All phases of development and construction through project opening

· Holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Saint Leo University with a major in Marketing.  He is also a licensed real estate broker in the State of Florida, and an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

· He is married with two sons, and resides in Dade City, Florida.

Deborah Sims - Business Manager

· Has a diverse business background with experience in many facets of the real estate industry, including demographic research and targeting, design and production of marketing materials, sales, accounting, and residential construction

· Holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Huntingdon College with a major in Business Management.  She is also a licensed real estate salesperson in the State of Alabama.  She is married with three children and resides in Birmingham.

Philip E. Paulk, MAI, SRA - Affiliate Appraiser

 

· Over 30 years of experience appraising all types of properties including multi-family apartments, health care facilities, office properties, retail properties, industrial properties, subdivisions, vacant land, and special purpose properties

· Received his MAI designation in 1984

· Clients include mortgage companies, commercial banks, insurance companies, government agencies, and other financial institutions

· Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Auburn University.  He is a State-Certified Appraiser in Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Mississippi, and Florida.  He is a licensed real estate broker in the states of Alabama and Georgia.  He is married and resides in Birmingham, Alabama.
